What's up in 2019 ?

How about starting 2019 with a New Year's resolution that makes sense ?

Then, join us now, and tell your friends about us !

The Friends of Tour du Valat is a privileged partner of the Tour du Valat, and aims at creating a community of Men and Women who share the same values and who weave, throughout the world, the links of reconciliation between Man and Nature.

The association’s objectives are to bring together within the same network people and organizations sharing the sense of action of the Tour du Valat Foundation : to create conditions for ambitious exchange and sharing in the field of wetland conservation.

Joining the Friends of Tour du Valat will help us :

  • To raise awareness about wetlands’ role, richness and fragility. The association wishes to intervene with a large audience, throughout the Mediterranean region ;
  • To organize free events, open to everyone. The Friends propose on three-monthly basis seminars on scientific works about ecology and biodiversity, travel writings, or environmental and climate change topics ;
  • To promote the importance of wetlands through an international photo contest.

Being a Friend also means taking part in Tour du Valat’s work :

  • by participating in scientific follow-ups and collective projects ;
  • by benefiting from natural outings on the Tour du Valat’s Estate ;
  • by contributing to public awareness events.
