June is the month of the Ircam Manifeste Festival, with 30 events on the program this year: Anthony McCall’s installation “Lumière” at the Espace de projection, Kali Malone and Deena Abdelwahed’s Électro-Odyssées, Matteo Franceschini’s opera Décaméron at the Théâtre de l’Athénée, choreographer Wim Vandekeybus’s "What the body does not remember" at the Philharmonie de Paris, and Cristina Branco’s Fado at the Centquatre... Iconic works from the 20th century to the emerging generation.

June is also Sonar month. The Forum team will be at the Sonar festival in Barcelona to present the latest updates to ASAP software. Come meet us! Make an appointment.

Also mark your calendars for our Forum Workshops in Tokyo from November 20 to 22. You can submit your contribution until July 5 ! Early-bird registration is available until July 30.

For the first time in Japan, the Ircam Forum will bring together the community of music and sound technology specialists, experts, and enthusiasts from around the world!

A call for submissions is open until July 5.

Dates :

- November 19: Lecture at Tokyo College of Music

- November 20: Mutek Japan – workshops

- November 21 and 22: Temple University Japan – lectures, installations, workshops, meetups, networking, demo performances.

This event is organized in partnership with Temple University Japan and the MUTEK.JP festival, with support from the Institut français, Yamaha, and the Tokyo College of Music.

Andrew Huang is testing the ASAP plugins!

Andrew Lewis Huang, a Canadian musician, videographer, and producer, is known for composing music in a wide variety of styles and genres, as well as for his educational videos on music theory and musical instruments.

We asked him to test out a few ASAP plug-ins. On his Instagram account, he shares his feedback on Psycho Filter, Stretch Life et Spectral Morphing.
