FEEDBACK ON THE FORUM WORKSHOPS PARIS - MARCH 29-31, 2023

 

A few weeks went by since the end of the IRCAM Forum Workshops 2023, and we would like to thank all the participants for their contribution to the success of this event! 

Being able to exchange and share with you on the latest news in music and sound has been exciting!

 

You were more than 300 participants, to attend 39 conferences, 17 installations, 6 workshops.

 

We hope that you have enjoyed this event as much as we did and we look forward to seeing you at our next events!

SONAR 2023 - JUNE 15, 16, 17

 

This year for the first time the IRCAM Forum will be at the Sónar+D 2023 in the Project Area and in the conference sessions to present the software ASAP and tools for AI.

OpenMusic 7.2

NEW VERSION

 

OpenMusic is a visual programming language for composition. Among the new features, you will find the addition of a fluidsynth player.

Somax2 2.5

NEW VERSION

 

Somax2 is an application for improvisation and musical composition. This new version is fully programmable and comes with a set of tutorials.

SKataRT 1.6

NEW VERSION

 

SKataRT is a MaxforLive device/instrument that combines the concatenative synthesis techniques of CataRT. In this version you can create parameter banks.

Watch the latest tutorials on Dicy2 for Max, ASAP as well as those for Somax2.
 

VERSION MANAGER

 

The Forum platform allows you to publish your own software or art project. A new integrated version manager has been developed to create and edit a version with advanced metadata, change the display order of published versions and files, and even select a version to highlight. The project configuration has also been extended to manage external Git repositories (GitHub and GitLab) more finely.
 
 

IRCAM participates in DAFNE+ and is more specifically in charge of setting a community of artists, designers, researchers and engineers involved in sound and music technologies.
