FORUM WORKSHOPS @NYU
REGISTRATION
The Forum Workshops @NYU will be held September 30 to October 3, 2022 in New York City and will focus on three themes: interaction, design, and sound production.
Discover the latest advances made by IRCAM researchers:
- Voice and sound processing and analysis: Nicolas Obin, Axel Roebel, Greg Beller and Pierre Guillot
- Improvisation and composition: Steve Lehman, Frédéric Maurin and Jérôme Nika
- Gesture-sound interaction and collective interaction: Frédéric Bevilacqua and Benjamin Matuszewski
- Sound design: Nicolas Misdariis, accompanied by composers and sound designers Andrea Cera, Roque Rivas and Nadine Schütz.
- Sound spatialization: Markus Noisternig and Johannes Goebel (EMPAC)
Take part in workshops led by experts with Greg Beller and Hugues Vinet focused on the European project DAFNE+ concerning blockchains/NFT/DAO for electronic music, Jérôme Nika on the improvisation software DYCI2, and Greg Beller on a suite of Live tools for voice processing.
Finally, attend Ex Machina, a performance by the Orchestre National de Jazz in collaboration with IRCAM, as well as a host of other performances throughout the event.
