Happy reading! | | A new Program Director for the Executive MBA! | | Albert Meige is the founder and CEO of Presans, a global digital platform of experts. He is an expert for the Harvard Business Review France. Trained as a Telecom Engineer, he also holds an MBA from HEC Paris business school and a PhD in Physics from the Australian National University. In 2008, the French École Polytechnique awarded him its Innovation Prize. He has authored several books in his area of expertise, including Innovation Intelligence (2015), as well as over a dozen peer-reviewed academic publications and also holds two patents. « I am pleased to pursue my commitment in accompanying the transformation of our world by taking the direction of the Executive MBA of Télécom Ecole de Management. The competition brings together all second-year students to develop a viable business plan in small groups of six to eight on average. | | | | | After a week of hard work, our students finally made it and presented their business creation projects. "I am the CEO and founder of Ikon Associates, a digital video strategic consulting company. I serve as Sales director at Labgency, a VOD premium platform provider. After my Master of Science, my career foundation started in Thomson Thales research lab, I joined Cadence in 1999, the leading provider of EDA and semi-conductor IP in San Jose, San Francisco Bay Area, in the early days of color screen and video-enabled embedded architecture. I then joined Packet Video, a San Diego based company in the heyday of multimillions start-ups (120Mi$ total founding’s). In the EMBA, I am involved in a team project looking for financing with the goal to bring an emerging company to the viable commercial stage and expand internationally. This project is about to go out and seek financing in 2016. This EMBA program is well targeted to: Take a step back, get some fresh air and look at the overall picture, Network and meet people and expertise outside of one’s specific sector / function, Go back to basics, strong theory and new skill set such as finance and marketing, meet entrepreneurs, start-upers and intrapreneurs in large corporations, learn again and again the value of team building and networking. The fundamental reason for my choice to enroll in this Executive MBA was the desire to
diversify my horizon and skill set, open up.
