Let's be honnest: it is not impossible but taking the Parisian metro with baby and a stroller is not an easy thing to do...
About half of stations are equipped with escalators and only few with elevators.
And
that's why baby'tems rather recommands you to...avoid the metro and
choose to take bus instead, much easier to manage with baby
and stroller.- in most cases, you'll then have to carry baby and the stroller in stairs
- tip: go through the large gate (those adapted for persons with disabilities - ring or ask the onsite agent for opening it).
- avoid rush hours, as it might then be difficult to climb in the metro itself...
“The Red Children Market” is the oldest farmer’s market in Paris, located 39, rue de Bretagne in the 3rd. Its name is taken from a 16th century orphanage that clothed its children in red. It was only in 1777 that the place was transformed into a covered market.
